Information Collected About You

If you have given consent, ICD collects information such as your name, job title, phone number, mailing address, email address, fax number, and company classification that you provide via submission of forms, email correspondence, social media, subscription requests on the Website, and other verbal and written communications.

How Your Information Is Used

We ask for this information so that We can provide services through the Website—including fulfilling your requests, for internal business purposes, and to follow up with you after your visit.  ICD also offers certain subscription-based content.  Along these lines, We also use your information to determine your eligibility for content subscriptions and the prices for such subscriptions, should fees apply.

ICD also relies on third parties to collect and process your data.  Along these lines, ICD may disclose or transfer information you have shared:

  • With contractors acting on behalf of ICD who are engaged in professional services agreements and are therefore bound by privacy and confidentiality terms identical to those enacted by ICD;

ICD uses the information that you provide to Us only for the purposes for which you submit such information and not in any way that is incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected.  We take reasonable steps to ensure that information that we receive from you is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current, including providing mechanisms by which you can amend or update your information.

In the interest of providing you with the highest level of customer service, ICD may provide links to third party websites.  The provision of such links shall not be construed as an endorsement of the content or security associated with such third-party websites.  ICD recommends that you carefully review the privacy policies of third-party websites before interacting or using such websites.

Transfer of Business Assets

As part of our business strategy, we might acquire, buy or merge with other businesses or assets.  In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets.  Also, in the event that ICD or substantially all of its assets are acquired, both personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information will be one of the transferred assets.

If ICD updates or modifies this Privacy Policy, We will post the changes on this page so that you will always have the ability to know what information We collect, how We use the information, and under what circumstances We deliver the information.

Children’s Privacy

ICD does not target the Website to children under the age of thirteen (13) nor does it knowingly collect information from children under the age of thirteen (13).  Thus, ICD requests that individuals under the age of thirteen (13) do not provide ICD with any information via the Website or any other form of communication.  ICD remains committed to protecting the privacy of children and therefore encourages parents and guardians to utilize any and all parental tools available to monitor children’s online activities.

California Residents

California residents who provide personal information to ICD have a right to request, once per calendar year, information about ICD’s disclosure of personal information to third parties pursuant to California law.  If requested, ICD will provide a list of the personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of the third parties.  All such requests must be submitted to ICD via email at [email protected].  ICD reserves its right not to respond to requests submitted to addresses and phone numbers other than those specified in this paragraph.
