Oven-Safe Paper Bakeware

Welcome Home Brands has given consumers a new way to bake and serve cakes, cupcakes, muffins, breads and more with the introduction of its new paper bakeware assortment. That innovative take on the established bakeware category garnered the company a 2012 Housewares Design Awards Bronze "Best of the Best" award as well as the Best in Category award for Cookware. "Paper bakeware is an international trend due to its convenience, practicality and decorative style," said Sam Sheppard, co-founder and co-CEO of Welcome Home Brands.

Made of food-grade paper, Welcome Home Brands disposable bakeware goes beyond cupcakes and eliminates the need for metal pans and is extremely convenient to use, according to the company. There is no need for pre-greasing or messy cleanup of baking pans. In addition, Welcome Home's paper bakeware is oven safe to 400?F and freezer safe, so consumers can bake and freeze in the same paper pan. Welcome Home's paper bakeware provides an easy way to gift baked goods? without needing a pan returned? and offers a decorative element as well, with myriad styles, shapes and design possibilities for the versatile products.

"It is a product that replaces metal bakeware. It is oven-safe paper that can be used to bake any cake-like dessert and real food, macaroni and cheese and lasagna as well," said co-CEO Richard Aslanian.

The extensive line includes cupcake and muffin cups, dessert cups, loaf pans, cake pans, heart-shaped pans and round muffin/tart/quiche pans. They come in beautiful decorative designs as well as seasonal Christmas and Halloween collections. Their visual appeal gives bake goods a personal touch, adding beauty to the presentation for entertaining or gift-giving.

Not only is Welcome Home's paper bakeware convenient, according to the co-CEOs, it addresses other top-of-mind consumer issues as well, giving it a broad appeal to a wide range of consumers.

"With the trend of the green movement, it is disposable, biodegradable and our serving sizes are smaller as well. People are a little bit more conscious of what they are eating today so that was one of the things that made us look into the product and bring it into the country," said Sheppard.

"Our packaging also adds value and sets us apart," said Aslanian. "Because paper bakeware is a totally new concept for most people, we designed the packaging to tell the story, in both words and images, while providing easy directions and tips that will allow home bakers to enjoy perfect results every time."
